高岡美優（3H）・宮野雄弘（3G）・柴田亮輔（2F）が、7/18～7/22の日程で、高山正弘先生とM.ジョージ先生の引率のもと、韓国・ハナ高校にて行われた国際高校生シンポジウムに参加しました。
Miyu Takaoka, Takehiro Miyano, Ryosuke Shibata participated The 7th International Symposium on Ethics and Social technology at Hana Academy Seoul with Mr. Takayama and Mr. George from July 18th for 5 days.
今回のトピックは、"Ethics and social technology"（倫理と社会技術）。本庄チームは、"SNS × Media ~What is the ideal relation between SNS and Media~と題し、SNSとメディアの理想の関係性について考えていきました。「倫理」と「社会技術」の双方の内容を盛り込むことは難しかったですが、3人で協力して完成させることができました。
私たちは、3月から4ヶ月間、本シンポジウムのために準備を進めてきました。テーマ設定や考察を考える上で、様々な困難に直面しました。でも、なんとかレポートとプレゼンを仕上げ、本庄チームの発表も素晴らしいチームワークでやり切ることが出来ました！！
このシンポジウムを通して、主に私達が感じたことがあります。それは、「グローバルリーダーとは何か」です。
We prepared to this symposium from March for 4 months. We faced on many hardship to consider about the theme, consideration, and so on. But, we succeed to accomplish the presentation thanks to our best teamwork!! Through this symposium, we mainly thought this thing---What is "global leader"?
今回のシンポジウムには日本の他に、本校とも交流を行っている中国・北京大学付属中学やタイ・マヒドール高校を始め、香港、アメリカの高校も加わり計11校の海外校が参加していました。
The 11 foreign schools of Japan, China, Thailand, Hong kong, USA participated this symposium. There are also an affiliated school of Peking university in China, Mahidol wittayanusorn school in Thailand, which are partner school of our school.
2日目に行われた"スカベンジャーハント"と称される、学校・国籍混合グループに分かれてのコンペティションでは、様々なミッションを達成しながらソウル市内を探検しました。韓国の食文化やサブカルチャーも味わい、良い経験になりました。
2nd day, through the competition divided by multicultural groups called scavenger hunt, we cleared designated missions and explored Seoul. We experienced Korean food and sub culture.
3日目、遂に私たちのセッションとなりました。4ヶ月間準備をしてきた甲斐があり、冷静にプレゼンを終えることが出来ました。質疑応答でも、間を作ることなく丁寧に質問に答えていくことが出来ました。セッション終了後、本庄チームは達成感で満ち溢れていたように思います。
3rd day, eventually we have a session. We could finish the presentation while keeping calm thanks to prepare for 4 months. In Q&A;, we could answer the question smoothly. At the end of session, we have so great accomplishment.
4日目に行われた文化交流では、早稲田大学高等学院と早稲田チームを組んでパフォーマンスを行いました。最後に会場全体を巻き込み、とても盛り上がり、本当に楽しかったです。その日はそれぞれのバディの家にホームステイとなり、別れを惜しみました。
4th day, we had the cultural performance with Waseda university senior high school as Waseda team. It's so fun that we swell whole of audiences. That night we had home-stay with our buddie's house. We became so reluctant for the farewell
グローバルリーダーとは何か―――スカベンジャーハントのプレゼン練習の時、一人ひとりが自分の役割を理解してチームに貢献する様子は、今まで「リーダー」が大きな責任を背負ってチームの中心となって他のメンバー引っ張っていくものだと考えていた私たちにとって、まさに目から鱗でした。リーダーだけでは、チームとして成立しない。そんな当たり前のことに、改めて気付きました。チームの中で自分に何ができるかを知っている人、チーム全体の力を高めるために動ける人、その全てが成功への鍵を握っており、チームを正しい方向へと導く、まさに「グローバルリーダー」なのだということが分かりました。本校のSGH理念でもある、国際共生におけるパートナーシップ構築力を少しでも高めることが出来たのではないか、と思います。また、本校とハナ高校における今後の関係存続に向けた礎を築くことが出来ました。
What is "global leader"?---when practicing scavenger hunt, It was greatly surprising the situation that they themselves understood their role to contribute teams for us. So far, we thought the only leader has plenty of responsibilities to play a central role and lead the other member. But, the team doesn't stand if there is only leader. We noticed it again such as obvious thing. The person who know what he or she can do for the team, the person who can work to enhance the power of whole team. All of these have the key to success. And we might define such people as "global leader" who leads the team to right direction. We can enhance our school's SGH vision, "Partnership construction skill aimed at promoting international symbiosis". And we laid the foundation to continue the relationship with Hana Academy Seoul.
